California, part 2...

 The conference itself was AWESOME and I didn't take any more pictures in the sessions than these because I was so entrenched in learning and growing...

It was deeeeelightful! 

They had an 80's Dance Party for us after the opening session and it was SO MUCH FUN!!

Some of us fully dressed up for the occasion😆 

 

We danced the night away - with our professors!😂- and had such a BLAST!! 

Dancing is apparently good for the soul 😁 I couldn't agree more.

 

The rest of the conference was incredible and I learned and learned and learned so much...

The best was the break-times of laughter and connections in-between though, no doubt!

 Meals together...skits and role-plays and lots of hugs!!

What a fabulous weekend!! 

Where OH where have we been?!

Well, one of us has been there anyways...😁

I had a WONDERFUL trip for my class and for fun!!  

 

It was so so special and amazing to meet my classmates in person! 

 

We have been six months so far in our counseling class on zoom, and it was awesome to meet some of them in person...like WOW!! 

My friend in the middle below is completely blind and bravely flew over from Ireland for this conference by herself! It was the absolute pleasure of a lifetime to meet her especially in person. 

There were women from literally all over the world: Bulgaria, Latvia, Ireland, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and all over the US...it was SO incredible to meet, learn, laugh and play alongside them for several days.  

 

A few of us flew in early to be together before the conference began...

We met up on the rooftop of our hotel overlooking Disneyland and got to watch the fireworks over the park...such a fun evening!! 

 The next day before the conference officially began, we headed to Huntington Beach for some fun in the sun!!

Eating lunch overlooking the beach was GORGEOUS!!

It was so, so, SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! 

So nice to have my toes in the West Coast sand...

We were loving it so much that we stayed to watch the sunset...

It was a wonderful day of fun in the sun!!

Adios to the East Coast!!

Mom is heading to California for a week...
