Happy home life with little people!

The boys and I discovered a great YouTube channel with fun and encouraging workouts for kids!  We've had SO MUCH RAIN lately that it is perfect for the days we can't go outside to the mudpit...they love it!!

 

Having little people while having big people is such a blessing!

 It's like we get to start all over again 😁😁 

(and maybe do more things right this time around?!😂)

We used our bread dough to play and make shapes to eat...wagons, trees, you name it, they made it! They finally settled on biscuit balls to actually bake and eat...deeeelish!

Daddy taught them the art of dough-ball-rolling 😍😋

😍😍  I LOVE the super sweet simplicity of the little people life!!! 😍😍

 Andrew is growing into such a wonderful kitchen helper!! He made hummus this week 🙌

 

 

The little boys (and the big one!) joined Daddy this week in picking up a new trailer!  Very exciting!

Special date day!

James got to pick anything he wanted for his date day (this time it wasn't quite as far as the train ride trip to MD😉)

We went to his favorite store so he could "shop around" 😂 and of course, pick out a treat!!

Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream Sandwich it was and off to.....

We did a scavenger hunt and dried all the slides from the rain with our pants😁 and had big fun!!

 He is such a special and delightful little guy!!

Meanwhile, excitement back at home!!

We had a big adventure while the men were off to New York...we headed to DC to a special service at the National Cathedral to hear our friends' grandfather speak for the 77th Anniversary of the Air Force and the 5th Anniversary of the Space Force...it was SO NEAT!!

The seats were all filled up!  Since we were guests of the main speaker, we got to sit right up front. 

The orchestra and choir were AMAZING!!!

It was SO beautiful and patriotic!

 Highlights included singing the Star-Spangled Banner, It is Well With My Soul and Amazing Grace (with BAGPIPES!) with the full Air Force Orchestra and Choir. Oh the acoustics!! 

I am so sad to report that all of my beautiful video clips will not upload to Blogger, so I cannot share the AMAZING music that I videoed to share 😥😥 BIG bummer.

It was a blessed time with our friends!

The "lead builder" then let us all build a brick!!

(Apparently this is normally a privilege one has to pay for, but he granted us this gift!)

Brick by brick this will go up as people make donations...super cool experience!
