Can you believe that I barely took any pictures?! What a shame (and a rarity!). But, between bridal party duties and caring for the baby (which Steve helped with tremendously!), I barely snapped any (good) pictures.

The wedding itself was absolutely wonderful. We are so happy for Preston and Melody, they are a perfect pair!

We're off to DC!

(Goodness, didn't I say I'd never go back there again?!...LOL, just kidding!)

Well, this time it's for GOOD reason!

One of my dearest and bestest friends is getting married on Saturday, and I am to serve as her Matron of Honor! What a privilege and blessing.

Melody and I met during our first week at Gallaudet in the cultural immersion program when we both had just moved to DC. We were just learning sign language and how to navigate this whole new world of living with the Deaf as complete outsiders who could barely even ask how to find the restroom. From there, we survived dorm life and graduate school together, and have been wonderful friends ever since! These experiences cemented our bond for life.

Melody has taught me so much and I have been rejoicing greatly that the Lord has brought such a sweet godly man into her life to marry and spend the rest of her days with. It has been so neat to watch them grow together as God prepares them to become one and serve Him together!

One, two, three...everybody holler together, now!

We can't believe it's already been four weeks since our precious Natalie was born! What a blessing she has been, and what a wonderful big brother Joshua has become!!
