Swims & Jams!

The crew returned and hit the books, so the little men and mama went to the beach lake, our favorite!!

We met a gal that was collecting frogs in all stages of the life cycle, which was SO COOL... 

Andrew is studying frogs, so we got to see them in all of their forms!

Our other favorite thing is to visit the local farm stand and get fresh corn and peaches on the way home!  We made it just in time because we DID NOT want to leave the lake 😅

And on to more music and fun!! Friends to jam and say good-bye...

We had an Adios Amigos Taco Party to send off a friend to new adventures with many rounds of toasts, blessings and prayers!

Then we got on to the business of making music!!

 

Such an INCREDIBLE group of musicians!!

They just rotate around their various instruments while I look on in AMAZEMENT...😎😎

 

We will miss our talented friend, but know that she is off to bless MANY MANY people with her gifts and we can't wait to see her on the big stage!!!

More adventures, HOME-CREW! Woohoo!!

Mama and the little men had our own grand adventures while the big kids were gone...

We met up with our sweet friends at our favorite park to picnic and play!

We had a great picnic lunch with our friends!

 

 

The boys and I ran several errands after the park adventure and ended the evening with a stop to a local jazz festival (by accident) and dinner and ice cream from the local food truck stand!!  Such a fun and spontaneous adventure!

😂😂  Front ROW to a traffic show!!  The boys were IN HEAVEN!!!!  😂😂

Milkshakes and traffic!!! SO fun! 😆😆

 

 

The weekend was filled with "playing Southern West Virginia"...building out our rigs, towing them and pretending to go mudding...

And games!  And jammies!! 

More peaceful and gorgeous morning sunrises...

 

 

And CONSTRUCTION!!! Oh the construction that has come to our "front door"...

We run up every morning to check out the progress of the house being built!  

Lots of machines - diggers, dumpers, scoopers, rollers...you name it and they have it...and we have front row seats to all the action!

The weather has been GORGEOUS for August (mid-70's!), so we've been doing school outside as much as possible...

We had a sweet weekend together and are so glad to be getting our whole crew back together again soon!!

More adventures, Trip #2! Woohoo!!

The men dropped Natalie off on the side of the road in Kentucky...with the hidden grandparents!!!

Well here are the REST OF the photos.....

So, it came time to call in her birthday gift, so she traded cars and company and headed north to Kentucky!!

They started their Kentucky adventures at a beautiful botanical garden...

They had a beautiful afternoon of flowers (her favorite💕) and finished the day with a yummy dinner!!

 

 The next day was the big adventure to the Ark!!!!

A little wet, but lovely nonetheless!

 

 

And on to a snake show...😳🐍🐍🐍

And on to the main attraction of the day!!!!

 

Ark Music Festival!!!

MUSIC!!!! Worship!! Awesomeness!!!

Incredible musicians!!  So fun to meet some of them!!

And the meet-up on the side of the road dawned E A R L Y the next day......

 

So glad to have our adventurers on their way home!!
