Five amazing years and two precious munchkins later...

December 29, 2004 Happy fifth anniversary, my love!!!

December, 2009
It truly is A WONDERFUL LIFE!!!
...Yea, happy are the people whose GOD is the LORD!
To my husband, I unashamedly proclaim that you are: my delight, my hero, my leader, my provider, my protector, my lover, my best friend...you are truly a wonderful GIFT from the Lord and I give Him great thanks for every day I have with you!
Thank you for five amazing, wild, wonderful, incredible years. I KNOW there is only more goodness to come. It is a blessing and a privelege to serve God with you; to "do life" beside you!

Thank you for your love, patience, kindness, forgiveness, leadership, trust, and most of all, your faithfulness.

I love you today more than yesterday, much more than five years ago, much more than I ever thought possible, and always.

Christmas gifts galore...

I couldn't even BEGIN to capture the mountains of gifts that these little ones received for Christmas from their grandparents. And actually, we saved about half of them to give Joshua for his birthday!

Here are a few of the funnier ones to begin with...

The LadyBug:
Natalie takes a turn...

And Joshua's very own "GA-GA!"
(Doggy)

Hilarious!

Finally...our Christmas pictures!

Working with our new camera has presented me with a learning curve, so at least for now, we've got our Christmas pictures covered! (As for the other 400 pictures, it may be awhile, lol!)

It was such a special Christmas this year and we had a wonderful time celebrating our Savior's birth!

Beginning with Christmas eve after church...Joshua is reciting everyone's names as embroidered on their stockings (thanks, Mimi!) before bed:
The house was a-glow...
The lopsided red velvet cake was nearly finished...
The table was set...(hey, there's a large chunk missing from the cake...!)

The elves were very excited!
I mean, really excited...
(so excited that one fell asleep before we could even get her in her bed ;)
The largest Christmas ham ever was baked...
Christmas day
Did I mention those cute elves?!

YaYa arrived to join in the festivities!
The joy was abounding!
The McMunchkins were too cute together...

Kisses for Na-Na
LOL!!
"HEPING NA-NA HEH-BOW!"
(Translation="Helping Natalie with her hair bow")
...well, not really, but at least he was trying!

"SHAY-ING!"
(Translation="Sharing" his toys)
As a funny sidenote, the above pictured toy was, out of about 100 presents, Joshua's absolute favorite: a little plain yellow car, special from Daddy.

"Who, me? Cute?!"
Young and old overcame sickness to be together...
(We started Christmas day fine, but by 2pm, Joshua had a 104degree fever! Alas, we persevered)
And what a great time we had!

YaYa & NaNa

Presents...
and some more presents...
...and then some more!!!
All-in-all, it was a great Christmas!
