Parisian girls, playdates and first kisses, OH MY!

Joshua was ready to pop out of my tummy, and these are our friends Lauren, Paul & Elea visiting from France:

And now back to today's story...

Joshua had the priviledge of meeting Elea this year!!

(Little did he know what he was in for...stay tuned, more on that later)

They hit it off very well: She's still a total cutie (as is her mommy!!)

Then Joshua tries desperately to hop in the bath with Elea. No luck, bud. And alas, the shocker of the night!!! Elea makes a move on Joshua... And what did Joshua have to say???

"WHOA!!! Yessssss!!"


Hahahahaha...what a fun visit, we love you guys and miss you now that you're headed back home to France!!!

Sweet holiday visitors!

Our dear friend Melody stopped by with loads of gifts for Joshua from her wonderful family!!

At first he was a little sleepy...

But then the giggles began!!

A visit to the old stomping grounds ~ the Gallaudet Holiday party!

You may remember my old job from here or here. What can I say? They like to throw parties, and the holidays are no exception! Except this year was very special because I was able to bring Joshua and introduce him to all of my old friends. What fun we had!!

Below is my old boss, (always the life of the party!), running the white elephant gift exchange:

We had SUCH a great time seeing old friends and catching up!! Love to all at Gallaudet!! Thanks for having us to the party ~ it was a blast!

A quick (and very delayed!) Thanksgiving recap

We are all thankfully recovering from our various ailments and happy to share the photos from our whirlwind of a Thanksgiving!

We started with a visit to Ya-Ya as she recovered from surgery: There were lots of birds where she was staying, and Joshua was fascinated!

Then out to dinner...

A very quick visit with Papa Bear:
A few more snuggles with Ya-Ya and goodbye!

Then on to celebrate Thanksgiving with Steve's family!

The weekend consisted mostly of this:

Too much food!

And we ended with lots of sickness and Joshua's first two teeth!

Teething = guess who?!

Poor Steve is taking care of us both...
