Regalia and such...

Clearly, we haven't had much exciting to blog about in the last few weeks (which definitely isn't necessarily a bad thing!). But...I DID just place my order for my graduation regalia, which in itself is pretty exciting! I will "walk" in the May graduation ceremony and officially finish after one summer school course. So, life is pretty good - school. work. school. work. Gotta love it!! :)

St. Patrick's day makes me think of my Irish roots ~ and especially of my wonderful Irish grandparents!!My grandfather read us a traditional Gaelic blessing at our wedding, and it will forever be remembered as our Irish blessing! I wish I could remember it all...

Happy 1/2 Birthday to Us!!

Okay, yes, this is so silly -- but true!! My dear parents used to celebrate my 1/2 birthday every year when I was little ~ and I thought it was SO COOL! (As you may imagine, no one else got this privilege!) I still have a few sweet hand-made cards from them!

Anyway, silly or not, it is a fun memory that I have of my childhood, so I think that since Steve and I almost share a birthday, we should certainly celebrate our 1/2 birthdays together, too!! So, March 16 & 17 marks the halfway point to the big 2-8 for us both on September 16 & 17!! :)
