James had to write a persuasive business letter for school.  So, I cringed a bit as he persuasively wrote to his favorite toy store asking for...a FREE TOY!! I cheerfully mailed it, explaining that no one gives away free toys, as it's not really a profitable business model...and then I had to eat humble pie when they hand wrote him a letter in response....praising his spirit....WITH a $25 gift card to buy any toy he wants.  

Wow all around.  He was SO EXCITED.  Just, wow. 😂 Tasty humble pie.

Dates, doctors...and more dates!!

James and I have been reading "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" recently and we just finished, so we had a special popcorn and movie night to watch the Narnian movie! Such a fun little home date!

 

Then we had to head out again, so we kissed this little man farewell and headed out for James to get several medical things taken care of...😘

First up was a blood draw, and he was super brave!! 

Then we headed over to get some x-rays and he was super brave again!  

He even got to see his x-rays right away, and that was cool! 

Then we headed out for a lunch date and found a life-sized Advent calendar from Tony's...OH MY!😂

We had a sweet time together!!
