We had a girls day for my 40th!!
It couldn't have been a sweeter day...we took a trip down Memory Lane with two of my favorite gals!!
We visited my first house that I ever lived in on my own!! McClelland Lane!
Then on to our Wedding Reception site!!
2019:
Natalie LOVED seeing the Wedding Reception Site!
We watched a history movie and took a tour of the Museum.
It was so special and fun!!
Slave Quarters and their accompanying toilets...complete with LL demonstrating how they work 🤣

My hostess-with-the-mostest-stand:
We had a fantastic southern lunch outside on the patio and then went for a stroll along the Cape Fear River...absolutely delightful conversation and my favorite company ever 😃
Years ago, Pops had taken us here on the Riverwalk and bought me a special necklace...so Natalie was intent on finding the same shop and getting something too.
It was so cute and we were so happy to find the same store again!
We both got a special piece to remember the special day by
💕💕
Here is Steve and I in the same spot, 2004:
Here we are with the kiddos in 2013 in the same spot!!
2019, all grown up!!
And per our girls tradition!!!
We stopped at the grocery to pick up some treats and proceeded to have a complete rock out session in the parking lot!! Grandma keeps us in the loop on all things hip-and-cool!!
