Fun Christmas PARTY, Round 2!!!

Wake up from previous nights' party, start all over and do it again!! 

 We have another wonderful group of friends that came over to celebrate the birth of our Savior!!

More feasting, more singing, more praying and more celebrating!!  

It is truly the most wonderful time of the year!!! 

Some friends in this group are walking through a very high risk pregnancy and severely health-compromised baby, so the group made a blanket for them to have in the NICU, or to remember the baby by if he goes on to heaven, and everyone snuck upstairs during the party to sign it!!  

 Lots of carol singing!! 

 More gospel sharing...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that man of mine!!!

 This was my favorite moment all night - when prayers and hearts turned to bless this sweet family in their hard time.  We are constantly lifting them in prayer!! 

The night ended with many fervent prayers on behalf of many people and we are so thankful for these amazing people in our lives!  

They have challenged us, grown us and changed us so profoundly over this last year.  

What a blessing!!!

I am so glad that we began our lives together with heads bowed before the

 Lord of Heaven and Earth!  

This is the only worthwhile posture to have.

December 29, 2004... 

Two lives and two hearts became one! 

 Mr. and Mrs. Stephen McMurray!!!!  

 Off to our new life together...what a JOY!!! 

Here we are 15 years later and still loving life together!!

 We can honestly say, "It just keeps getting better!!"

 This year has been one of much growth, and I am so thankful that our posture remains the same...

Heads bowed together before the Lord of Heaven and Earth.

The WHITE HOUSE!!! And DC...Part 3....

Our lovely tour came to an end and we were able to get some more pictures outside!!

 We strolled towards where we parked and had a grand time enjoying the city!! 

 Daddy led us to Freedom Plaza so the kids could see the Capitol and where the news spots are filmed...

 Then we stopped at Daddy's old stomping grounds!  

 And toured the Reagan Building...

 Stopped for a picnic lunch in the Atrium...

 Escalator rides until the hyena giggles got way too loud...

 And then came the LLAMIE!!!! (Llama + Lamb = Llamie)

 The kids giggled so uproariously that the entire display of Llamies sold out two times over while we were there...it was HILARIOUS!!  (Seriously, people were grabbing them and cleared the table off, the owner came and restocked, and then it got cleared again!! )

So we decided to buy one for the kids and the owner ended up giving them one for free because they had sold so many in our short time there with their laughter and delight, that his advertising was covered and then some!  

  

 Such a fun day!!!
