Too much CUTENESS in this house!!

(Isn't that quilt gorgeous?! These ladies gave it to Natalie as a gift ~ they are amazing!)

Joshua has learned to "smile" for the camera! What a cheese-ball!
What can I say for this pictures except that it makes us LAUGH!
"What are you looking at?"
Doesn't she look like a little doll?!

So, so precious are these little gifts from God!!!

Learning...through real life.

A peek into our pre-school classroom lesson today: preparing lunch!

We begin each week by chopping up lots of vegetables to have a "salad bar" available throughout the week (saves time to do it all at once!). We decided recently to incorporate Joshua into this work!

He sorts, fills, then eats... It all gets a little messy! Especially the egg part. Yet, he loves it! AND, we're learning all sorts of things! Counting, colors, textures, patience, persistence, following through on a task, responsibility, cleaning up after ourselves, serving others, etc, etc, etc! We are very proud of our little guy! Did I mention he liked the eating part?! All the way up to trying to put it away, those little fingers kept making their way into the tray. Heehee. Whatta cutie. And don't forget the clean-up!
Washing hands seemed to be the next best part after the eating.
And, no classroom necessary :) Incorporating learning into real life is so much fun because life is the best classroom!

He unpacks, then he stacks.

My Wal-Mart trip buddy: We let hime unpack all the bags, then stack as many things as possible. Who could've dreamed this would be so fun for a little one?! Who needs blocks when you've got pudding and cereal boxes?? :) And goldfish?!

Much to Joshua's dismay, the watermelon did not make it on top of his stack...
Then we put all the bags away for recycling!

Who knew Wal-marting could be so fun and educational?! LOL.

Papa John visits...and becomes "Pop-Pop"!

Joshua couldn't say "Papa John", but he delighted to holler "Pop-Pop!!" every chance he got. So it goes, Pop-Pop is the new name!

Pop-Pop meeting Natalie!
Impressing our ball-loving-fellow with juggling!
They even took naps together, how cute!
Serious talks with Pop:
With both our babes:
Headed out to dinner:
Out at the restaraunt:
(Thanks for dinner, Pop-Pop!)
Blowing bubbles!!

And he even cooked dinner for us!
Thanks for a great visit, Papa John (aka, Pop!) - we love you!
