The new stroller (A BIG HIT!)

Our Great Nanny got Natalie a stroller (doll to arrive later) for her first birthday!

Daddy and Joshua had fun putting it together:

Natalie tried to help too. Joshua handed Daddy all the screws. He was, as usual, serious about "HEPING!"

"All this excitement? For me?!"

Somehow, they seem to have traded gifts. Nonetheless, many thanks to Great Nanny for so many fun presents!

ANT INVASION!

Have you ever read of, or better yet, witnessed, an ANT WAR? Well, we hadn't either...until the battlefield became our driveway.

Literally...thousands and thousands of them. Fighting with each other.

Steve got out the magnifying glass. Yup. Check. They were all actually wrestling with each other. Totally wierd.

"I don't get it, Dad. What's so cool about that?"

"Ants, son! Wrestling!"

It was two colonies struggling for control. For the space underneath our driveway. Fascinating.

Yet in the end, Daddy actually won the ant war.

Hope I never see that again.

Father's day celebration!

Our family celebrated Father's day on Sunday with Grandpa, Grandma J and Uncle Sam! It was great fun playing in the water park with Grandpa!

Grandpa plays with Joshua while Grandma J pushes the water control buttons!
Natalie is, of course, supervising diligently:

"People! It's HOT! When can I get in the water?!"

Grandpa filled the buckets, Joshua dumped them.
