In case you missed the fact that Steve is a super dad, I won't go on about it again, but I will say this his Dad, affectionately named Papa John, is also a super dad, and we had the pleasure of him visiting us this past weekend...what a treat!!
I love my Papa John!
We chatted a lot...
And in case anyone was wondering where Steve got his silly-face-making skills, here it is folks...

In other big news, Steve is teaching Joshua to manuever a mouse.
Joshua is getting pretty good and would like to know when he's getting his own monitors like Daddy (And yes, the gloves are very helpful in this endeavor)

Joshua has also been enjoying lots of "tummy time"!

He is supposed to be showing off his head lifting skills, but I simply ended up with lots of blurry pictures. Oh well, he's cute anyway.
Daddy gets in on the tummy time...

Life with a baby...never a dull moment!!
Joshua is truly a joy...sleeplessness or not, he is such a blessing and we love him more everyday!!

Kevin, Rebekah & David

And from the old school, LTW to visit from Greenwich, CT!
My dearest Melody!
Steve's surrogate Grandpa, now nick-named the Great Ron-Ron ("Grr" for short) popped in from Arkansas! What a treat to spend time with him:
And unfortunately, minus his mommy & daddy, but held by the lovely Jessica, Ethan Grusy and Joshua were able to hang out this past weekend!
(You may remember Ethan and Joshua hanging out here:)
Thanks to everyone for your kindness to us in these first few weeks of Joshua's life!!

Apparently, Joshua missed the hospital. Alot. So much so that he decided he needed to go back. For two days!
Not to worry though, he's doing better. And although we're all exhausted, we are home now and working on getting our little guy all healthy.
It started with some uncharacteristic throwing up accompanied by some odd behaviors, so our pediatrician sent us to the ER. We received excellent care as Joshua was progressively tested for every possible problem under the sun. Steve accompanied him for every test (x-rays, ultrasounds, etc), as I was unable to stomach the poking, prodding, and obvious upset/discomfort that this caused Joshua, though we were with him every other moment including staying in his pediatric room overnight.
The conclusion reached upon our discharge was that he has serious reflux that is very treatable and will hopefully diminish in a few months.
We are looking forward to getting our happy little man back over the next few days as we begin to treat his reflux and his esophagus heals. Here are the few pictures that we captured during our hospital adventure...
