 And this was my view in the week that followed...thankfully we had visitors, grandparents and a wonderful Daddy to take care of everyone and see to it that they didn't miss a single moment of summer FUN!! 

Savannah's Surgery

After 10 years of odd symptoms and a puzzle that no specialist or doctor in the country could figure out, I was finally diagnosed with Ischemic Bone Disease in four places in my jaw and was able to go for surgery almost immediately.   

Big exciting day...

 I was on so many drugs, it was a very happy experience...🤣🤣🤣

It went well!  

So thankful for the wonderful Dr. and his staff!

We were SO BLESSED by our wonderful church family during all of this...they cared for our children, made me soup, picked up our groceries and prayed for us!  So sweet! 

FunDAY: Snoopy Snowcones and Waterbeads!

I wanted to do a few fun things with the kiddos before I will be "out" for surgery for a couple of weeks, so we decided on Snoopy Snow-cones and Water beads! 

Snoopy was very exciting!

This is Steve's from when he was a kid!!

 Then we soaked up our water beads to get them ready for play (thanks, Fav's!)...these are so fun!

 Of course there was a battle...

Baby LuLu!

Our sweet neighbors just had a precious baby girl, and we were so excited to go meet her...and of course, bring some treats for her siblings :) 

 Natalie and I had fun putting together a basket of treats!!

Butterflies & Jigglers!

I am LOVING James's school!!!  Eeeeeeeee! 😄😄😄 

He is having so much fun and it is keeping me accountable for doing all that fun pre-schooler stuff that I would likely just pass on because of the mess or time or whatever.

This week started with finger painting! 

 They do all the talking for me too...what to do, how to do it, reminders to clean up and thank your mom...I mean, really!!! It. Is. Awesome.
And I just get to do the fun part of enjoying the activity with him! 

 We also did a "Touch Tray" this week as we talked about the Five Senses:

Natalie was not missing out on this one...

Truck man, indeed!

(The funny part?!...This kid only likes healthy food, so...they all went in the trash! 🤣🤣)

Big, big, big-boy fun!! 

He is so happy that he gets to do "Big-Boy School"...he tells everyone!

 The boys are SOOO CUTE together!!! 

These two guys cooked up some yummy pancakes this week!

 We had our friend Jeremiah over this week to work on some computer stuff with Steve...and low and behold, you'll never believe what happened after dinner?!!

Also, the boys took a fun trip with Daddy this week amidst our on-going water-heater debacle...James thought he was BIG STUFF and chatted with everyone at HD as if he owned the place.

I am so thankful that my wonderful hubby includes our boys in all of his adventures!!  I think they love it even more ;)
