Snuggles & pouts (a good combo, right?)

We're still "vacationing" for the Thanksgiving holiday, so this will have to tide our Joshua fans over until we return! :)

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!! May you delight in the Giver of all good gifts!

Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever. -Psalm 106:1

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. -Psalm 100:4

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
-1Corinthians 15:57

Also, a little Thanksgiving humor (girls only!) that was too funny not to share!

At first I wasn't so sure, Grandpa...

My grandpa told me I just had to try this zwieback toast stuff... So I checked it out...

Tasted it...
And loved it!!
Thanks for the (very messy) idea, Grandpa!

THE cutest bug on the block!

(Yes, I know, he may hate me for this someday...but it was too cute!!)

"My Um-Um sent me this towel and my mom couldn't resist actually using it..."
Snug as a bug in a rug after bath-time!
"Mom, this is soooooo embarassing!"

Ball chasing mania.

We're not kidding, he actually chases this ball around our apartment for nearly an hour at a time. Seriously. What more could we ask for in a toy?!

Going Bananas!

"Ug, what ARE those things?!" "NOT so sure about bananas..."
"Okay, maybe I'll try them with a little sweet talking from daddy..."
"Okay, tickles too please!"

"Alright, alright, I'll eat them!"

Our fun Connecticut visitors!

We had a special treat this past weekend - Aunt Audrey, Uncle Michael and cousin Peter came to visit Joshua!
(Little did they know that he lunges after food like it's nobody's business!)
Joshua LOVED Peter (can you tell??)
AND, Peter juggles...Joshua was captivated!
So we went out to dinner at one of our local favorites and saw some of our friends there with a daughter the same age as Joshua...Lucy...too cute!
"Hi friend!"
"Can I poke your eye out?!"
(And that was the end of that conversation. We'll have to work on his skills with the ladies...;)
Peter and Steve, post wasabi tasting:
Our group photo (we were SIX people)...notice the friendly family behind our table that decided to pose for the picture as well!! We couldn't figure out why the waiter kept backing up and saying we had a large group...that would be because the folks behind us were pretending to be with us. Hmmm.
And where was Joshua???
Right here, snuggled up with his beloved stinky milk bottle!
No sushi yet, folks.
Thanks for visiting, Braunstein family!!

Our little angel, sporting his halo...

"My mom and dad said I could give you a halo too!...Want one?"

11.13.2008

Giggles!

11.11.2008

Joshua hearts Dr. Pepper too?!

Hmmmm..... Like father, like son?

11.09.2008

Family date night!

Joshua sat in a real high chair for the first time...
But really, the big highlight was the Captain's Wafers that he munched while we enjoyed our dinner!

"More crackers, please?"

Helping Mama clean...seriously.

No, honey, we don't eat the sponge.... We scrub, scrub with it! Yeah!

Refocusing (this is serious business).
...And, back to eating again...
Oh well, I tried! LOL...

There's nothing like a good 'ole fashioned country fair!

And we're off!
"Um, what's a fair? Massive crowds and ten tons of fried food...this sounds kinda scary..."
"Dad, WHAT are you eating?! Is that MEAT on a stick?!"
"HORROR OF HORRORS!"
Our dear friends that joined us (p.s. - Joshua hearts Mrs. Hardin - more on that later):
The Cereal Killer and Toothy Malloy, being manly:
Dad...eating again...per Joshua's view from the cheap seat:
"Hey! Lemme try that!!!"
Okay, so we girls even got in on the corn action:
Did I mention that Joshua hearts Mrs. Hardin? A lot. Watch out, Toothy.
Can I just say...Joshua LOVED the fair. All giggles, the whole time.
And then this was on the ride home...one pooped fella.
What a blast! Thanks, Hardins!
