Finally, some outdoor weather we could handle! (Meaning, we didn't melt)

The men set out to prepare our lovely dining area.

(We're pretty fancy here in the McMurray home, what can we say?) And further on that fancy note, Jeff Foxworthy might want to add us to his routine.

"You might be a redneck IF you carry a TV tray outside to your back yard to eat off of while sitting in green plastic chairs."

Do we qualify? I'd say so.Nonetheless, we had fun together as a family...

...And that's all that really mattered!!

Birthday wrap-up!

Well, we're back! It was great to take some time off during the week of our birthdays to enjoy some "wire-less" time with our family, and also good to spend some focused time this past week catching up on the many things that piled up while I was "gone".

So, back to what we were "up to" during our virtual absence... ;)

Ya-Ya sent us some festive balloons; which of course, Joshua thought were for him!

He thoroughly enjoyed batting them around for days!

Hello friends!

Just a quick note - I took a few days "off" to enjoy our birthdays (which were quite enjoyable indeed!), but now I'm busy playing catch up!

We'll try to post our recent happenings & pictures next week, as I'm taking this week to get things back in order!!

Remember our newly-wed friends, Preston and Melody? Well, they came down from DC this past weekend for their first post-honeymoon vacation and visited us! What fun! Preston got full lessons on babies, including (oops!) getting spit up on!

Play Clay!

(I could just skip all the pictures and say...A MESS!! :) But alas, we decided to be adventurous and make our own play clay! Mmmm....stirring the pot:
