Randomness round up of the week!! And some leftover from last week!!

Little Miss Baker-Muffin-Maker has been very busy in the kitchen lately...

💕 Her specialty is healthy AND yummy!!  Chocolate Zucchini Cake, here we come! 💕

These two provide the entertainment at your feet...

And speaking of cooking and baking, our friends made a tremendous and amazing Chicken Pot Pie that was delicious!!  And an awesome Apple Upside-down cake that was eaten so fast I did not get a picture!

Outside, Natalie's garden continues to grow and thrive!  

And how THIS happened, I am not entirely sure?!!!

James insists on trying to carry Andrew around now and it is HILARIOUS.

(Thankfully Andrew cooperates AND is very forgiving)

So, so, so blessed!!! 

 

Manly men + deer, sleepovers and...butter?!

I took Big J to pick up his crossbow and get a haircut...he is such a joy to this mama and everyone he meets.  He blessed the barber by being a "rare-nowadays-fine-young-man"...Yesss!! 💪😍

He hopped up at 5am Monday morning to participate in a special 3-day Youth Rifle Hunt...

🦌🦌🦌 3 DAYS = 3 DOES, BABY!!!!!! 🦌🦌🦌

💪💪SO, SO PROUD of this young man!!!💪💪

He is an incredible hunter and he speaks my love language when he fills my freezer!!!! 

We love Mr. Fred and are so thankful for the many years he has poured into training Joshua to hunt!!

 😂 Daddy (accidentally) having breakfast with friends this week 😂

And on to the butter maker!!!  James's assignment for science this week was to make BUTTA!!! 

He shook the cream with all his might and ran laps around the kitchen for 10-straight minutes in order to make this butter business happen...

Mmmmm...it was so yummy and he was so proud 😁

He wanted everyone to share in his treasure!! 

Sunday WILD FUNday!!!

Well, I really should back up and say that Saturday night ended with a fun movie night...

And now back to Sunday morning!!  

SO. Much. Help.  We were ready in no time with our friends visiting and it was such a blessing!! 

So Sunday really started off right with a beautiful time of worship...

And ended up in an impromptu dance party!! 

All the kids were still starry-eyed from the outdoor dance, so they started up again and it was so fun!!  

The "party" transitioned outside to volleyball! 

And somehow ended up with a lost dog and the returning of a lost dog...😇

And FUN four-wheeler rides, of course!! 

River exploration, tree-climbing and the like...

Some enjoyed the sunset over the river, some stayed behind for a porch tea party! 

And then on to a perfect-weather Fall BONFIRE!!!!  

Big thanks to my mama friends that helped me pull off the dinner spread!

HURRAH!!!

I got to have a special breakfast with all the boys while the gals slept in...we crept out to see them in the morning but they were all still snoozing away!
