The GRANDparents arrive for the BIG EVENT!!!!

So per their usual...
Pops and LoveyLicia arrive and immediately want to know what they can do to be helpful
(What. A. Blessing.  I KNOW!!!), so I send Pops to the Barber shop with the boys to get haircuts and Lil' J comes home with BLUE HAIR!!!!!
Pops, this might be the last time I try THAT!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
(Pops also had the boys buy mama roses while they did my grocery shopping 🥰 He is so sweet!!)

So all of this blue hair business is hilarious because Pops almost had a heart-attack himself!!
🤣🤣🤣
The lady that cuts their hair is Asian with a thick accent, and of course she was wearing a mask, so Pops could barely understand her anyway, but she asked at the end if James wanted "Glue? Glue?" (or so he thought), and he assumed she meant some type of hairspray to make his hair stick up...well, imagine his shock when she swiped his head with BLUE spray...he about fell over...and SO DID I when he got home!!
We ALL got a VERY GOOD LAUGH from that one!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
 More baptism prep!!
Pops decided to clean, detail and fix all of our cars while he was here, and spent time teaching Joshua how to meticulously care for our cars as he taught Steve growing up...oh bless you my dear father-in-love!!!
 Hardest working lil-big-man!!!
James, our constant laughter and entertainment...

And then for the grandparent SLEEPOVER in the loft!!!
Daddy and Mama only came up for movies and then to say goodnight...
(Doesn't the grandparent bed look comfy?!  I think we'll need to upgrade them next time...)
 Boys corner...
  Farewell to till the morning!!

Stay tuned for THE BIG EVENT!!!!

Legos, legos and MORE LEGOS!!! And Daddy's HOME!!

While Steve was out of town, he arranged to have MONSTROUS AMOUNTS of Legos delivered so that no one would notice his absence 🤣🤣
He had an entire BOX FULL of wheels sent and the boys had a big time with them...

A huge Firetruck Set greeted us when we returned home from church Sunday...

 AND........TWENTY POUNDS OF LOOSE LEGOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Daddy!!  You're the best!!
The McMunchkins had so much fun playing with them while he was gone, but most especially when he came home and they were all able to play together.
The amazing creativity around here (and the VEHICLES, OH MY) is AWESOME!!

We were SO HAPPY when Daddy came back from his camping/four-wheeling trip and enjoyed watching all of his MUDDY Go-Pro footage!!

😍🥰😍🥰😍

Randomness round-up of the week...

Successfully sported my ultra-cool new mask this week...LOVED IT!
Got lots of compliments.
Serious man talk going on in my kitchen.  And serious food eating too.  Love it all.
Daddy packing up to go on his annual camping trip with friends!!
Machines all loaded and gear ready to go!!  We'll miss you, Daddy!
Steve's friend brought us quite a bounty from his family garden before they headed out - WOW!!!
We sadly mourned Daddy being gone by making ice cream sandwiches...so, so sad, right??
 (They look devastated 🤣🤣🤣)
Dinner can be rough around here sometimes, what can I say?!
😁😎😁😎😁

And Daddy sent us a picture from his camping-MUDDING adventures with his friends...
Looks like muddy-funnn, yeehaw!!!

Horsie-Daddy Dates!

Daddy took the kiddos over to our friends barn this week to learn about horsies!!
(And doggies and bunnies, too...;)
The idea was to ride the horses AND learn to care for them, but it was too hot, so the horsies got a bath instead...

They had a great time - THANKS Mrs. Jeanne! - and then they had a Daddy date for dinner and ice cream afterwards!!

 (While mama got some  q u i e t  time alone...amen?!🙋🙋🙋😃😄)
 WORLD'S BEST DADDY!!!!!
  "Smile for Mama!"
