Natalie's special sleepover!

She headed off to a sleepover with friends this past week and had a blast!!

They made loads of lovely scones...most definitely one of her favorite things to do!!

Mr. Fred brought us some apples, so caramel dipping sauce was FIRST on the agenda!!

And then they got right down to pumpkin business...

We had so much excitement going on in the kitchen...

Daddy had to peek out his office window to say "hello!"

Quite a party down there!!!  

All the chefs were VERY BUSY in the kitchen!  I LOVE IT!!! 

Pumpkin Pecan Bread, Maple Pumpkin Bars, Frosting, OH MY!! 

Tea Time!!!!  

What a great celebration of the changing of seasons!  Every season is such a gift!

Did I mention the FIREPIT was going to be our new fall hangout spot?!  

Indeed...we are LOVING IT!! 

This particular bonfire gathering started early with ATV rides and was SO MUCH FUN!!!

 Putting our White Bean Chicken Chili to good use :) 

 Another great evening of fellowship around the fire!  

 And then on to the NIGHT ATV rides...YEEHAW!!!!

Randomness round-up of the week!

Six dead trees down = LOTS of firewood for winter! 

 Our men and hunters worked super hard this past week to get rid of the dangerous dead trees looming around our kids play areas and our driveway.  They can fall at any time, so I so appreciate Steve's proactiveness in taking them out before they crush someone's car, or worse, our kids!

It's always neat how God uses the life cycles of Creation to provide what we need for the upcoming winter season, to heat our home and water!

She turned our leftover pot roast into an awesome beef stew!!  

 I was right beside her chopping chicken for one of our favorite fall meals, White Bean Chicken Chili!!  

King James most certainly got in on the chili-making action too :)
