Choosing her clothes.

I love how little ones are so simple in their likes and dislikes.

Sometimes, like when we'll be home all day, Natalie gets to choose her clothes, "All by sef".

It always makes me laugh.

Of course, it doesn't matter if it actually matches, but it's all about picking her favorite color: purple and a touch of pink. Light purple, dark purple, stripes, polka-dots, doesn't matter - she loves it all, and it clearly ALL goes together!

Smashing outfit, dahling!

A trip to our favorite Museum!

We love our local museum and go monthly with some close friends and fellow home-schoolers!

Driving a space ship that mama "drove" when she was a little girl!

Whatta a museum cutie...

Treats afterwards...

Our monthly outings are so fun, mama!

Dr. Dan and the Bananeeee Phone!

Does anyone else own this precious little book? We LOVE it, it's one of my children's favorites!

Now back to the story...

If our kids ever complain of a "fake"ache, I tell them that we'll have to call Dr. Dan, from the above mentioned book, on the banana phone, to get them well.

They get a great kick out of that (and they're ache suddenly dissipates into a fit of giggles...) and now, whenever they get ahold of a banana, they want to ring up Dr. Dan and tell him they're sick...on the bananeeeee-phone, of course! LOL

"Hi Dr. Dan, we're sick, hi, bye."

They take turns ringing him up...too funny, these two!

An update on our favorite snacks.

Yep. That's right. It's one of her favorites.

She loves to dig in "All by-sef!"

And this guy? Wild about Edamame!!! LOL.

Sock Puppets!!

In one of our favorite books, the children make sock puppets, and Joshua has been asking to make them for some time now. I finally was able to get together all the materials and we had big fun making our very own!

Laying out all the materials:

Little people + lots of little things = ???
A big mess!!! :)
It was all worth it, though!

Meet Mary-Sue...
And Curly-Lou...
And Toodie-Roo!!
"Hey, my hand talks!"

Teaching them how to "use" the puppets:

Of course we put on a wonderful puppet show for daddy. Yay, fun!

Team Fly-Swatter

When a fly is on the loose, these two are ON IT. They jump and chase and swat like it's nobody's business.

Waiting to pounce...

A look of defeat?

Big bro to the rescue. Look at that face.

Did I mention this was serious business?

Thank goodness they're around to protect us! ;)
