It was big excitement around here on the first day of hunting season!! 

We are so thankful to Mr. Fred for teaching Joshua all there is to know about hunting 🦌🦌🦌

We're so proud of you, son!!!  And so thankful to you for filling our freezer!

Bread baking day is always exciting around here...

James had to stop all of life to have some "honey-butter-n-bread" like his Berenstain Bear friends!

Shoeboxes and Interviews!!

We were so happy to deliver our Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes and those from others in our church!!

Heading out for a combined Shoebox drop, Orthodontic visit and TV interview day in MD!!!  

We were up high in the mountains for this trip and drove through high winds, blizzard-like snow and a hail storm...wild times!!! 

It was chilly! 

So happy to see our boxes and those of our friends joining so many others!  

After our Shoebox drop, we were off to our Dentist/Orthodontist for a check-up and he wanted our family to share our testimony of how our non-braces-dental-appliances have worked for us.  

It was fun and funny to see the kids get on camera!

Joshua was quite the salesman 😂😎

We had great check-ups!

And being TRUE homeschoolers, we even got a science lesson while we were there on the chemical reactions happening to make the orthodontic molds!!

More riding excitement!!

We had more fun riding with friends this past week...exciting and just a tad chilly!! 

The older kids love to learn to drive the machines!

Trail side picnic was cancelled due to a gigantic downpour that the crew just narrowly escaped! 

So thankful for such a good time! 

FOOD & Randomness round-up!!

The snack this week for school was chocolate covered frozen banana treats...yummm! 

The chefs among us were happy to oblige...and share!  

James also just finished a unit on Spanish culture, so we celebrated with a Fiesta, Quesadillas, Maracas, and learning lots of Spanish words!! Ole!  🌮🌮

And Chef Natalie, with her gorgeous creations!!  

A veggie tray to share with friends, and then below, blessing our family with her latest creation...delicious POT ROAST from her brothers' deer!!!

The True Princess!!

 

We are all about encouraging our sweet daughter to be a TRUE Princess, and this week was a special - ANNUAL - part of her princess journey!!!  

This book has been a guide to us as we help her grow in her journey, and it came up in a discussion with friends this week, so I thought it would be fun to share it here! 

Special dates with Daddy are a sweet (annual!) way to secure her heart in her father's precious unending love!!
